Taxes & Shipping Policy
Taxes:
Elements Games and Collectibles Ltd. charges applicable tax to all customers within Canada. Please take your province/territory GST/HST into account when making a purchase. These amounts will be calculated during the checkout process as well for your review before committing to a purchase.
Claims regarding tax will only be approved if Elements wrongly calculated the amount for the shipping address provided. Please refer to the refund/return policy for more info on submitting a claim.
For international customers, tax will not be applied to the purchase.
Shipping & Handling:
After placing an order you will receive an email confirming that we have received your order.
Please allow up to 3 days handling time before your order is processed, packaged and shipped. Special conditions may apply during statutory holidays in Canada.
We provide the following shipping and pickup options for orders placed in Canada.
The following cities and towns are eligible for local delivery: Stony Plain, Spruce Grove, Edmonton, St. Albert, Sherwood Park
The following municipalities may be eligible under specific circumstances and dependent on delivery schedules, and also may be subject to further charges: Beaumont, Fort Saskatchewan, Leduc, Devon, or any other smaller municipalities in the Edmonton region.
Elements will do it's best to deliver your package in a timely manner, but cannot make any guarantees on when your order will be delivered to your home. Our delivery schedule varies, but is roughly one delivery every two weeks. The next tentative delivery date will be noted on the delivery option in checkout and will be communicated to the customer in the order confirmation notification.
When the order is being prepared to go out for delivery, the customer will receive a notification via email detailing that we have left our establishment with the package. Delivery can take up to 4 hours after we have departed for the package to arrive.
Once your package arrives, we will ring the bell or knock and await for someone to receive the package. If no one comes to the door to receive the package, the package will be left on the front step, unless weather or other conditions would prevent us from doing so in a manner that would not damage or leave the package susceptible to other means of distress.
If you have specific requests for delivery, please note those in the "Special Instructions" section of the Cart, or contact us via messenger, or e-mail (elements.gca@gmail.com) to inform us of these special instructions.
Once your package is delivered you will receive another email notification.
All shipping costs are subject to change without notice. If there is discrepancy between the rates noted here and the rates calculated at the time of checkout, the rates on the checkout will be taken as true. Please contact us if there is a discrepancy and we will do our best to resolve without incident.
Claims
Elements uses Canada Post to ship the product and shipping times may vary. We always choose methods that include tracking and we will provide that for you after the product is shipped via your order status page. If your product does not arrive in a timely manner please contact us so we can try to resolve with the carrier and determine where your package is.
Right of refusal:
Elements GCA retains the right to refuse a local delivery or local pickup for any reason and will communicate that to you before refunding your order and offering you regular shipping. We also retain the right to remove these methods of shipping from our available methods at any time without notice.
